The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed about the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This website can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services place created for intervention encounters a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
